I was watching VH.1 Soul and saw this video for the first time in about ten years! This was my jam. My husband Lonnie (better known to you guys as Common) has a sample of The Family Stand in his song Geto Heaven Part Two off the album Like Water For Chocolate.

Look how young my baby looks! I think this is when he still had the "Common Sense" moniker. He ages like fine wine. One of my favorite odes to Hip Hop.

This was a feel good song, and The Fab 5 look like they were having fun making this video. Love the Temptation set-up and moves. Glad to see the Boot Camp Clik is still out there holding down the underground.
